Type O Negative played Harpos in Detroit that night and it must’ve been 100 degrees in there. At one point we watched the show from behind thru the back curtain. Sold out, overheated, alcohol-fueled insanity for 1800…a killer show.
After the show Peter made a point talking to EVERY fan who hung around hoping to meet the band…He was gracious with everyone.
The Playgirl magazine with Peter Steele had just hit the stands. Lots of girls were there to get it autographed…
One of the best times I’ve ever had at a show, and one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.
